3 things I love to collect

Coffee mugs. Even long before I was a coffee drinker, I loved mugs. My newest is a cow mug with pink hearts on it. It's precious.

Journals. I love to write, I have many journals with beautiful colors and images. The pages are crisp. The lines spaced out perfectly.... but find myself writing in the notebook section on my phone instead of the dozens of adorable journals I have. I keep telling myself I will save them for when I start writing the story of my life. Because nothing is ever safe in my home, most are filled with little love notes and pictures from my kids.

Vintage quilts. Strolling through a thrift store, I cannot pass up buying any quilt I come across. Stained or ripped, I don't care. I imagine the hands that spent several hours piecing it together. The bodies it held. Filled with many stories. They are beautiful pieces of art! I have some of my favorites displayed in STUDIO316.

STUDIO316

I DID IT!!! After putting in more than 40 hours in the last 3 days, I am happy to say that I AM DONE!!! I still have to move in a few more pieces, but overall I can now begin taking clients starting TOMORROW!!
There were many obstacles the last few weeks that made things pretty hectic, but miracles happened. This whole journey has been many miracles wrapped up into one giant miracle.
This is so much more than a studio I will be shooting in. This place is my sanctuary. My calm. My zen.

STUDIO316 is my biggest accomplishment next giving birth to my beautiful children. And an equal amount of work went into it, to see it completed like this is nothing short of cry worthy. Sweat, blood and many many happy tears went into this place. Success. Determination. Patience.

To be honest, I had an idea of how I wanted it to look but then I kept being told I should have it like every other photographers studio (modern), but just like I live my life, I totally winged it. And I did me. And I couldn't be fucking more happy with the outcome! Many lessons were given to me during all of this. I learned SO MANY things about myself.

Cheers to the many families I meet, and get to continue to shoot. And to the many bodies I meet for energy healings!

What a journey!!

Middle Fork Cafe & Coffee House

I was in New London this evening shooting a young gal who is having Quinceanera in the coming months. I was planning on shooting out in the back woods of this beautiful town, but plans changed quickly and we ended up downtown. On my way back to my vehicle I happened to see this adorable sign. Two things I love; Cute signs, and COFFEE. I met the owner (sweetheart!), enjoyed my cold press and headed home. I will be back seeing as how they are the only coffee shop in the area open until 9pm and the coffee was amazing! People say the town of New London is tourist-y but honestly, I find it to be more artsy. On one half of main street behind all of the cute shops there is a peaceful river that runs through and a walkway next to it leading to a brewery called 'goat ____' something. Antique stores, brewery, coffee shops and cafes... It really is an adorable town.  I totally expected to see more hippies around town with how everything was setup. Loved it!

I have learned that the way we think is always shaping, defining and creating our reality. Every little thought you think counts. Even the ones that just slip on through seemingly unnoticed!
Once you resonate with thoughts filled with joy, gratitude, and appreciation for what you do have, things seem to just fall into place.
Don't just dream big, think big and act big! Nothing is off limits. Positive thoughts manifest positive outcomes ❤️
Out with negative energy and in with positive energy!
